Question
Answer
Action to What We Learned

05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    - expectations for new service lines need to be tempered as incumbents given priority – 400 sites were actually for up for grabs though they put 2200 sites on the bid sheet

05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    - There were inaccuracies on site specs – spend time verifying current specs with the field
05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    - 3rd party sourcing agencies provide little coaching and looking for lowest cost only – they did eventually crack and provide budgets for a select 250 sites
05-16-2023 04:30 PM
•    Menetrey has a good relationship with Katherine the final decision maker

05-16-2023 04:30 PM   Logic source was the sourcing company – contacts were Mike Denhardt was the analyst and Mark targlia was the point of contact. We met with Mike twice and Mark once – (Greg/Chreston/Vince)
•    Logic source continues to be used on all Rite Aid RFPs

05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    Logic Source is very price driven however us suggesting changes in scope that ultimately would save them money, brought them to the table and gave a competitive advantage as we were able to get a lot more insider knowledge from those meetings
•    Logic Source took a lot of our suggestions on the frequency side and sent it out to rebid to all competitors
•    We suggested Mowing – Service Frequency reductions, Pruning – Service Frequency reductions, Dead Plant/Shrub removal – moved out of scope, Pruning Frequency reductions, Land – irrigation wet checks/repair moved to out of scope, Final Leaf Cleanup – removed, •
SCU Mulch – Turn and Top Dress only, mulch reduction from 3 to 2 inches

05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    Rite Aid does want to align vendors with land and snow – keep this in mind for strategy next time
05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    Originally Mike said we would have won 11 sites based on price but through coaching we ended with 68
05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    We have a foot in the door strategy so we hope to grow the portfolio based on strong kpis for the initial award. Operational excellence with lead to growth.
05-16-2023 04:30 PM   •    Clearer process explanation for the next RFP. Action items for team clearly distributed.

Items in the new table are called:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
