CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES
7. Licenses/ Permits, Compliance, and Services Agreement 
7.1 Contractor shall obtain and maintain all necessary permits and licenses required for the services 
required herein. 
7.2 Contractor shall comply with all applicable codes, ordinances, rules, regulations and laws 
governing the services required to be performed herein including but not limited to any water and/or 
noise restrictions that may be in place or be put in place during the conduct of these services. 
7.3 Contractor shall comply with all applicable governing federal, state and local codes, ordinances, 
laws, regulations and/or restrictions pertaining to all services required under this Agreement. 
Including but not limited to maintenance requirements of all retention/detention pond or wetland 
areas. 
7.4 Contractor shall ensure that a supervisor is on site at all times during the times services are being 
provided on each Public Storage property and that all of Contractor’s employees shall be under the 
direct control of that supervisor. The Contractor’s supervisor shall ensure that Contractor’s employees 
perform all of their duties in accordance with the Scope of Work set forth herein. 
7.5 Contractor shall perform services in a safe and professional manner and comply with all 
applicable federal or state OSHA regulations and guidelines. 
7.6 Contractor shall perform all of the services under this Scope of Work in such a manner so as to 
not unreasonably interfere with Public Storage’s business operations.
7.7 Contractor’s vehicles shall be marked with the Contractor’s name, logo, and phone number.
7.8 Contractor shall ensure that each person performing the work referenced herein shall be fully 
informed of the scope and standards of service required and all such areas in which the services are 
to be performed. 
7.9 Contractor will be required to sign a Public Storage Services Agreement and provide proof of 
sufficient insurance, including an Additional Insured Endorsement naming Public Storage as an 
Additional Insured
 
11-17-2022 General Note       Pricing for 100 sites in Chicago region. Didn't get these sites because we stole a few of those DM's. Currently doing more snow than they gave us last year. Will award this piece by piece. MI, IL and IN best places to win. Call Travis Hardman and Doug Ashenbaugh old Public storage DM's that could help with strategy for this bid.

11-09-2022 SOW       WA/ID: Mow and blow, weed abatement 12 months, 2x per month in Nov-Feb. 1x per week March-Oct.
Other states:Grass shall be mowed during the growing season to ensure height is maintained
between 1.5” (one and one half inch) and 4” (four inches) as recommended for the grass species. All
areas adjacent to hardscape or paved areas shall be edge trimmed upon completion of mowing operations
Trimming: where material is within 15 vertical
feet from grade: Contractor shall trim as necessary to eliminate hazardous conditions including
maintaining 84” (eighty-four inches) vertical clearance in pedestrian routes, 96” (ninety-six inches)
vertical clearance where tree canopy encroaches into vehicle routes, and maintaining appropriate
visibility at all vehicular intersections. Contractor shall trim as necessary to remove dead, broken or
diseased portions that cannot be controlled by chemical application
Weed Abatement: Contractor shall ensure that all landscape areas are kept in a weed free condition. This area
includes sidewalks, planters, drive aisles, gate areas

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
