This is an opportunity to pick up 10 new locations for porter and lot sweep in the Carolina's market. We utilized pricing we already have for Kimco in the Florida market. We went in at a lower margin as Matt A said he can pick up points on the back end from the provider. There are 4 sites next to each other where we can get better pricing from the provider by saving on trip cost.

04-06-2023 09:20 AM   Spoke with Kim Johnson with Kimco.  She could only speak to her sites and not the sites that other pms manage.  Gave Curtis and i some feedback:

-Our bids came in at the highest of all of the bids they received.

-Cost is not always the main decision maker.  Quality will sometimes outweigh cost.

-Kim wasn’t aware of DMG and our business model.  Had to briefly explain to her our technology, operational excellence and our field presence which sets us apart from other contractors.

She seemed very excited to hear about our work verification model and how we can have providers bid on jobs and other projects.  Might be giving us a few smaller job requests to see how we operate.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
