05-23-2023 General Note     Open Spoke to Matt Alley about the GACOR UPS HQ. Said the place is like a "botanical garden" and there is pine straw everywhere on property. Likely $12,000 min in pine straw alone and probably close to $40,000 min for the site. I sent information over to Jeremy for review.
05-17-2023 General Note     Open Jeremy came to us today and let us know that UPS wants us to reprice GACOR which is their HQ. Looks like we did not have any specs and it was pulling Matt's minimum for GA as a result, I remember we talked about just submitting the minimum the final day of reviews. I called Matt Alley and he is going to have his DM go over there and spec the property, hoping to have specs back to me by tomorrow to resubmit.
05-12-2023 Meeting     Open Met with Jeremy and Mike today for lessons learned. Overall feedback was good, biggest concern was with specs and having more time to review. Mentioned the field had five weeks to review sites and we only had two days to review pricing. Called the customer and was able to get the feedback sheet filled out on that end.

Said we were awarded the one additional site, the CASBE that we sent in last week. Total came out to 133 sites, which is an increase of 71 sites from the incumbent of 63 and total over $1.2million.

05-03-2023 General Note     Open Jeremy reached out today and asked for us to look at specs again and lower the following sites. Said there was an opportunity for us to gain seven additional last second sites in addition to our award.

We were able to lower CASBE, MDBUR, MDLAN, MDLDC, and VAALE. Unable to lower MDBRT, VASPN.

04-26-2023 Award Results     Open We have been given 132 sites, an increase for 61 sites and about $600k in additional revenue. Waiting for exact figures and site awards from UPS.
04-05-2023 General Note     Open [10:51 AM] Mike Hundemer

We have been getting coached on a few sites and had to respec a few.  We have been told we are not keeping all of our existing sites, but we will see a net gain.  No idea what that looks like right now though.  Awards should come out soon.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
