10-05-2023 General Note     Open Awarded 150 sites and roughly $2.57 million
08-04-2023 General Note     Open Final Review:
- keep push and salt margin the same
- 28% margin for mag chloride locations
- $125 across the board for snow hauling since we need a seperate work order anyway

Chris was good with me emailing to the customer email they want pricing sent to. Said to include Greg and Matt B on the mail as well.

08-01-2023 General Note     Open Final Meeting Notes with Jason and Mitch:
- $750 per ton
- Mag chloride does not need to be priced out on sidewalks
- $500 minimum on mag chloride lots
- $350 across the board for snow hauling
- Do not set a minimum on locations that have zero public SW specs, keep at $0
- Need to make sure we get feedback from Kwik Trip that we are not drastically underpricing from customer prior to accepting

07-31-2023 General Note     Open Chris said we will have to price out the mag chloride sites even if we gave them a price that did not incooperate the mag chloride the first time around.
07-27-2023 General Note     Open Andy got back to me on his thoughts for Mag Chloride and snow hauling. Mag Chloride: $50 per bag, 10 bags needed for 20k sqft
Snow Hauling: $350/hr

Going to combine what Mitch, Andy, and Steve said to better price out for Kwik Trip.
- Bulk Mag Chloride Per Ton: $750
- Sidewalk Mag Chloride: $50
- Snow Hauling: $350 (MI), $380 (IA, IL, WI), $410 (MN, ND, SD)

Will present this to the team during touchbase tomorrow, need to finalize everything with Mitch next week to make sure he is good with it.

07-26-2023 General Note     Open Vince talked to Mitch. Said he was potentially good with doing $300 snow hauling across the board and $750 per ton.
07-26-2023 General Note     Open Messaged Steve Fry about hauling hourly rates in MN, as well as mag chloride per ton applied.

Hauling - $410 per hour in MN, wanted me to raise IL, WI, and IA to $380 per hour.

Mag Chloride is $1500 per ton applied

07-25-2023 General Note     Open Email bid to CONTRACTEDSERVICES@KWIKTRIP.COM for submission. Already filled out the vendor contact information form based on information listed in the Albertsons NorCal land RFP.
07-24-2023 General Note     Open Sent out email to Futscher, Andy, Mitch, and Steven to let them know about the increase in price for the newly created sites that have to use mag chloride.
07-14-2023 General Note     Open Want to recovene next week and meet an hour with Jason and each of the RMs to finalize pricing and make sure nothing is out of place. Greg mentioned possibly doing the snow hauling for $1 so we do not have to orverprice ourselves on that end. Have to go over pricing out the new lot sites with the magnesium chloride with field to make sure we are covering ourselves on that end.

Chris feels very good at chances to win, thinks we will get a minimum of 350 and possibly over 500.

07-12-2023 General Note     Open RFP officially dropped last night, it looks like they added 12-15 sites that we had not previously priced out. Asked Chris about scheduling a time to meet - due August 4th by 11:59pm
06-12-2023 General Note     Open Update on Kwik Trip per Chris - they seemed to like our pricing and the idea of giving us 500 of the stores with a discount. Shane at Kwik Trip needs a few more weeks to look over before making a final decision
06-05-2023 General Note     Open -pricing is to be set for 1 push to 1 salt for every 4 inches. So we will have events  pricing from 1-4,4-8,8-12. Using pushes and salts that are in middle of  the tier

Number of Pushes:
-1-4: 1 push
-4-8: 2.5 pushes
-8-12: 3.75 pushes

-only billing 1 salt per each category. Need a salt only category in the pricing.

-original margin for the vacant margins will be 25% across the board

- moving efficiency from a min of 1000 to 1500

06-02-2023 General Note     Open Sent over email with updated pricing after we reviewed sites with public SW and removed all private SW. This includes building out event levels for the vacant sites.
05-31-2023 General Note     Open We are going to be changing the model for Vacant lots. We are going from normal push every 2 inches of snow to a model that covers a 1-4 range and a 4-8 and a cost per inch above 8 inches
05-31-2023 Decision     Open per Chris and Jason T. remove all pricing for private sidewalks. Only public sidewalks will be in scope. Kwik Trip employees are responsible for private sidewalks along the store, and if we are asked to cover we will come up with pricing then
05-31-2023 General Note     Open submitting pricing again with potential coaching, Chris believes we will get coaching all the way to the end.
05-23-2023 General Note     Open Sent updated pricing with new sidewalk specs, Chris going to present to Shane at Kwik Trip. Chris, Jacob, Jason T, and Greg are meeting with Kwik Trip team at their HQ tomorrow morning.

Chris was very adament about sidewalks with zero specs having a $0 price point instead of being the minimum. We stressed the importance about having a minimum, however Chris mentioned that would hurt us with the way KT is calculating price. Still tried to lean on Jason Thorwarth for his expertise. Adjusted totals to present to customer to $0 for sidewalks with zero specs. Going to give us some trouble with not knowing which locations KT deems not having any sidewalks due to certain locations taking care of it. We'll have to see what Chris and Greg want to do with this.

05-22-2023 General Note     Open Got pricing feedback from Shane at Kwik Trip, trying to get ahold of Courtney to break out public and private SWs by meeting Wednesday. Found out public SWs are not included in price, our pricing seems competitive but SW pricing will throw totals off.

Shane from KT also sent us over photos about who has the responsibility for snow on each site. Would have been nice to have this earlier since it will drastically change the specs and pricing. Need to see how Chris wants to handle this.

05-18-2023 General Note     Open Met with Chris to build out the locations he wants to present for coaching and updated model. Told him I could copy over some parts of the model for reference, but could not send him working model to show customer.

Chris mentioned he wants to have the minimums priced for vacant lots and areas we do not have specs.

05-17-2023 General Note     Open Adjust Margin to match Casey’s to see where the price goes from there
Show 15% and 32% next to 30% with the difference is and send over copies to Chris and Greg
Thinking about discussing Volume based Discount
Shane willing to offer coaching based on what is currently being paid
Goal is to win 50% of the stores
Important Factors:
1.    Overall Price
2.    Per Push Price
Price per sq ft breakdown to show where our pricing is
Go in with pricing and sales be willing to offer discounts
Pick 10 sites in each state and submit those to get coaching on
Schedule meeting with Chris and Greg to update and send over to Shane before meeting on Thursday
Do no t include tax in pricing

05-10-2023 General Note     Open Going to pull Walgreens and Caseys rates and compare next week to where our current pricing lies. Greg feels they are too high compared to Casey's even though the average lot size of Kwik Trip is much higher.
05-09-2023 Meeting     Open Steven Fry:
Modifying Bike path efficiencies
Raise Hand Labor to 75 on bike paths
Efficiencies raised to 10,000 on bike paths

05-04-2023 Meeting     Open Met with Mitch and Jason this morning about MN, SD, ND, and IA. Mitch cut prices drastically to be more competitive so we can pick up the Minneapolis-St. Paul region in hopes to move Kwik Trip to cornerstone.
05-04-2023 General Note     Open Met with Steven, Chris, and Jake - going to send over list of non-vacant sites we are unable to find and see if we can do something about those. Steven will see if his team can find them driving by and Jake will work on getting site maps for those. Since the lead for the RFP is out until Monday, Chris sees no rush in getting it submitted and is pushing for mid next week. Will schedule a follow-up call for Tuesday.

Items in the new table are called:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
