11-09-2023 General Note     Open Final Review:
- good with the pricing as long as RMs are comfortable with following the scope
- going in at 25% margin for all non-incumbent sites
- anything under 20% margin, bump up to 25% with the non-incumbents
- no discounts or bulk packages will be offered for these sites

11-09-2023 General Note     Open Risks with this RFP

- since it was a 1.5 week turnaround, not much time to verify specs or pricing
- only about 1/3 of sites were verified by the field. On our VP call on 10/30, the field thought they should spec the sites and not pay for specs since it was only 2-4 per DM.
- with the field being in office this week, it made it difficult to verify pricing with each RM.
- had to make assumptions on when to stick with incumbent pricing and match fields rates/frequencies for RMs that we were not able to review sites and rates with

11-08-2023 General Note     Open Steve F:
- Steve was good with matching rates and frequencies from the Kohls Land bid. Said we wanted a flat 3% increase to all incumbent locations.

Dan S:
- kept incumbents all the same with the exception of Freedom, CA since it was 8% margin. Added 15% of the cost for that location
- CA $40 hourly, $70 mulch, 3 native, 3 pond, 0 turf ferts, $75 min
- $120 per service for Hemet, CA
- WA 32 mows, 75% for weed control, $75min

Troy D:
- keep incumbents the same
- MO $45 hourly, $68 mulch, 75% weed control, $85 min
- KS $48 hourly, $68 mulch, 75% weed control, $95min

11-08-2023 General Note     Open Robert Y:
sent rates and frequencies from Kohls Land bid to him over teams, said he was good with them due to being in RM meetings in office today

Josh H:
sent rates and frequencies from Kohls Land bid over to him and Mitch on teams, Mitch said he was good with the rates. Mitch also wanted us to match pricing on the two incumbent sites since we had good margins.

- Bruce wishes we would have gotten more time, going to try and get an extension to 11/10
- whether it is open or closed is based on site maps
- field will need to have sites verified by 11/3 since it is only 2-3 by DM
- field team reviews on 11/6 and 11/8
- mulch is not included in price and will be a separate WO, but we still want to get specs

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
