03-29-2024 General Note Land   Open An issue on the customer end caused our list of 40 to not be fully accurate. After some discussion, we were able to re submit 28 sites then price out a new list of 19 sites for a total win of 47 sites. We will also be awarded primary on 38 new build opening this year. IF we can perform on these locations, we will be opened to new regions

02-28-2024 General Note     Open Kickoff Notes:
Looking at the eastern sides of the country
They are very interested in the landscaping piece for us
One area has no landscaper and so they are looking for pricing quickly
They have an informal scope, not a lot of defined items.
We will be dealing with a lot of regional operators and not store GMs
They will go through Service Channel, they don’t have any verification besides getting it done.
Potential for snow if we can show with work verification, we can cover them and cut down on their verification
Stores were recently under BDS, who gave back for low margin
Regional VPs of Operations have budgets and get to make a lot of decisions
Customer is looking for an April 1st start
Need to have a conversation around the Fall Mulch – Top Dressings
Call with customer on Tuesday the 5th, any questions we might have around scope can be answered then
Going to ask about the potential contract data that we can gather.

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
