11-13-2024 Pricing Strategy HVAC 11-22-2024 Closed CVS HVAC – Kick Off Call notes & First touch base
•    8,000 sites for PM work both retail and non-retail and hourly rates
•    Low right to win, right now they use self-performers, but we are hoping to get some areas where CVS is hurting and target those
•    4 year contract – is an option to list a % increase for each year (maybe 2-3%)

Touchbase
•    Daniel priced out PM work for states that we have a strong provider base and there is a good amount of stores
•    CVS team wanted to see if we could push this to include more states – throwing a price out to see if it sticks
•    With this being a 4 year deal, the concern from CVS team was not bidding enough and being locked out for pick ups for 4 years
•    HVAC team decided to get full list from CVS of states they need help. Any that we did not bid that have 100 or more stores, we will price out, even if a little higher than we would like. Hourly rates are being pulled by Jason and we will meet Monday to discuss final pricing
•    Daniel did not price Non retail, we sent question to CVS team about equipment – and they sent an average and said they expect adjustments to be made to these so we will price them.
•    Margin target will be determined next meeting

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
